General Motors Took CES 2022 by Electric Storm with Three New EVs
While unveiling the new Silverado EV at the CES 2022 conference, CEO Mary Barra announced two more electric vehicles from the GM garage. She revealed that a Chevy Equinox EV and Blazer EV are in the pipeline and are expected to be launched soon.
The 2024 Silverado EV electric pickup truck will be available in two segments to begin with. These will be the fully loaded, consumer-oriented RST (Rally Sport Truck) First Edition and the pared-back, fleet-centric WT (Work Truck).
However, the CEO avoided revealing anything else on the new upcoming EVs, except that the Equinox EV will be launched at a starting price of around $30,000.
With these three new EVs adding to GMs garage, the automobile giant now boasts of 10 electric cars in total, including, Chevy EVs, a GMC Sierra EV, the Hummer EVs and two Cadillac EVs.
