Automated Aerial Refueler Completes First Carrier Tests

The Navy and Boeing have successfully maneuvered the Boeing-owned MQ-25 T1 test asset on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier for the first time. This is an early step forward in ensuring the unmanned aerial refueler will seamlessly integrate into carrier operations. Navy flight deck directors – known as ‘yellow shirts’ – used standard hand signals to direct T1 just like any other carrier-based aircraft. Maneuvers included taxiing on the deck, connecting to the catapult and clearing the landing area. The demonstration followed a two-year flight test campaign for the Boeing-owned T1…

Remote Water Sampling System Based on UAV

SPH Engineering has released a new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle-based Remote Water Sampling System within UgCS Integrated Systems’ product line. The test flight was conducted at a lake in Latvia to proceed with water sampling for subsequent analysis in a laboratory. The system combines a drone (DJI M300 RTK or DJI M600 Pro), Ruttner water sampler, onboard computer, radar altimeter, and UgCS ground control software. SubCtech comes up with Subsea Batteries and Marine Monitoring Systems

SubCtech, a main designer of sea observing frameworks and subsea power innovations, has joined forces with Unmanned Systems Technology (“UST”) to show its mastery in this field. The ‘Gold’ profile features how the organization’s cutting edge arrangements are great for preparing USV (automated surface vessels), ROV (remotely worked vehicles), and AUV (independent submerged vehicles) working in testing marine and oceanic conditions. SubCtech’s lightweight standard battery-powered Li-ion batteries are encased in titanium pressure lodgings for activity down to 6,000m. All remote ocean evaluated batteries can be tweaked on request to change…
